Mother Nature Heals Me

Enjoying peace and quiet and breathing fresh clean air in the great outdoors is one of the most important profound gifts of self-care self-love you can give yourself and cherish.  With all the noise from artificial devices, traffic, and things we watch on tv, we all need many quiet unplugged breaks as often as we can.  The best way to do this is to go outside and play and unwind and unplug from all your devices.  Tuning into and enjoying Mother Nature’s magical healing beauty is wonderful.  I often find myself feeling sensory overload with the tv on, the conversations going on with my family, and the external noises outside.  My favorite way to feel better and unwind is to enjoy silent solitude outside and just be. 🌈💜💚🐞🐦🐸🐬🐳🌲🌲🌲🍀

Just sitting down on the front porch meditating or doing Tai Chi on the grass and hugging the tree helps me feel grounded, comforted, and safe.  Watching all the beautiful little birds and listening to their beautiful songs is truly the best healing medicine for me.  I enjoy many hours of relaxing on the grass and allowing all the healing magical beauty to fill my Soul and heal every part of me.  It’s healing soul food and I’m very grateful for this self-care self-love gift I can give myself when I need to.  I love to write and cook and take care of my family, but connecting gently quietly with Mother Nature is my favorite thing to do, as well as cuddling with my adorable sweetheart kitty cats, my beloved fur babies, my best friends. 🌈💜💚🐞🐦🐸🐬🐳🌲🌲🌲🍀

When I hug my favorite tree, I take a deep gentle breath and allow myself to feel grounded and deeply connect into the core of Mother Earth.  I imagine the tree roots moving through me and anchoring me deep into the soil.  I learned this beautiful technique from the beloved Shakti Gawain 20 years ago and it helps me every time and I’m very grateful for its profound healing. Give yourself the same beautiful gift of healing self-care self-love as often as you can.  You’ll feel very happy and grateful that you did. 🌈💜💚🐞🐦🐸🐬🐳🌲🌲🌲🍀

Absolutely beautiful. Deeply resonates and I could feel all the wonderful positive loving energy from your post. Every bit of it is true. Nature is a solution and a soul-lution

When I started working from home, I began taking “sky breaks.” I simply make a point of getting outside and looking up. And that usually leads to checking out birds and bugs and flowers and my garden and pulling a few weeds… Maybe I should rename them “perspective breaks.” Thanks for the post.

  4. I can’t even imagine living anywhere that I could not get outside and breathe in Mother Nature’s medicine!

  5. This is so true. I don’t feel like myself if I do not get a chance to connect with nature, even if it’s a few minutes on the deck of my house. It truly is medicine for the mind, body and spirit.

  6. I find spending time in Nature very therapeutic. The photos are awesome.
